Plant Journal

The second issue of the Plant Journal features an interview with Simon from Comanechi by Mr John Doran. They talk about how being a skint musician drove him to transform his rubbish dump garden into a herb and vegetable garden. I learnt a great deal from him on this shoot, like how he's decided to build a hibernaculum to encourage toads that eat the slugs that would have eaten the veg. And how ladybirds should be encouraged as they feed off the aphids that feed off herbs such as dill. He also gave me the recipe for his aunt's cucumber soup, which I will make when I get round to growing some cucumbers.
